What a treat! Our house filled with clients, business people and friends, as The Victory Bank hosted last week's Tri-County Chamber of Commerce mixer event. Not sure of the exact turnout, but our rough count indicates well over 100 in attendance. There was quite a "mix," which of course is the whole point of a mixer; some long-standing chamber stalwarts, some brand new businesses and lots of well-known and respected folks from the local community. The Tri-County Big Mahoff, Mr. Tim Phelps, offered a short but enthusiastic message about making important connections and doing business with other chamber members, and the bank provided a nice gift basket as the door prize.
Otherwise it was exchanged business cards, outstanding food and drink and lots of animated conversations about everything from the economy and politics to sports and the weather. Great stuff. I want to thank our close friends Julia, Paul and the rest of the team from Angelina's Italian Kitchen for the catering (864 East High Street Pottstown, PA 19464-5753 - (610) 705-1833) and service. We might have to institute a cannoli limit for certain future attendees. Wow! And also thanks to Jeremy Fanucci who provided the eclectic mix of elegant music at the piano. Jeremy is a regular with us and sometimes sits down for a few minutes of spontaneous keyboard stylings when he visits our bank. Our red roof was rocking with music, laughter and fellowship!
