Q. How easy is Victory Mobile Merchant to use?

A. Open our FREE app on your compatible device, insert the swipe device and follow these steps:

Log into your account:

  • Step 1: Select the  transaction type
  • Step 2: Swipe the card, or enter card information and the dollar amount of the sale
  • Step 3: Verify dollar amount and enter tip (optional)
  • Step 4: Capture the customers’ signature and submit

Q. Do I have to be a client of The Victory Bank to accept credit cards?

A. Yes. The proceeds from all sales will be deposited into your Victory Bank account and any necessary fees will also be debited.


Q. Is Victory Mobile Merchant secure?            

A. Yes! The Strength of AES 256 Encryption with negotiated rotating session key and FIPS1402-2 Level 3 hardware encryption module means this is one of the most secure services available, providing you and your customers with peace-of-mind that your information is always secure. Our technology is the best in the business.


Q. How much does Victory Mobile Merchant cost?

A. There is no application fee or set up fee. There is a monthly fee of $5.00 as well as per-transaction fees of a flat 2.75% per swiped transaction. If you do not swipe a card, the fee is just 3.50% + $0.15/ per non-swiped transaction*.


Q. What types of credit cards can I accept?

A. You can accept Visa®, Mastercard®, Discover®, American Express® and PIN based Visa®/Mastercard® branded debit cards.


Q. How much is the swipe adapter?

A. Every Victory Mobile merchant account included one free swipe plug-in adapter. Additional adapters are available for an additional fee.


Q. Does the customers’ card have to be present?

A. You can process a sale without the card being present by manually entering the card data. It is strongly suggested to have a card present for increased security.


Q. How quickly will I receive credit for my transactions?

A. If you close out your batch prior to 7:00PM E.S.T., you should receive credit into your Victory Bank account the following business day.


Q. Can I get reports from my sales?

A. Yes. You will have online access to review sales, reports and other activity.
